Hi! I am a class of 2025 graduate who is dedicated to what I do and excited for what the future holds! I was first introduced to cross country in 7th grade in an effort to stay in shape for soccer. However . . . I ended up falling in love with it! I am so thankful for the decision to try cross country because it has brought me to where I am today.
In the Spring of 2022, I made the Varsity Girls soccer team for my high school as a freshmen. The track coach reached out and asked if I could run track too. My soccer coach agreed to allow me to get conditioning in during soccer practice and then run in track meets that didn’t interfere with soccer games. I ended up getting to only compete in two regular season meets, but I still qualified for regionals, then sectionals, and then states! After that, I decided to dedicate myself to running.
I am a very driven and goal oriented person, always putting in work to improve. I have a great high school coach, and I also work with the RunCCG program during my offseason! As focused as I am athletically, I also prioritize my school work. Maintaining a 4.0 GPA, ranked in the top 5% of my graduating class, and taking all Honors and AP classes I work hard to balance school with athletics.
I am so excited to see what my future holds!
