I’m interested in being challenged academically & athletically. In high school, I ran in Cross Country, played Soccer & ran distance in Track. I would like to major in Physical Therapy (Sports focus). I’m currently attending Young Harris College (D2) & run for the XC & Track Team. I‘m majoring in Biology as this is a pathway to PT. Being a part of the XC team allows me to pursue my career interests & be a team player. In high school, I was a semi-finalist candidate for GHP (Governors Honors Program). I strive to maintain a gpa between a 3.8/3.9 or higher. In XC, I’ve been running for the HS team each year (summer & fall seasons). In soccer, I played any position in defense (played since age 5). Prior to going to college, I worked part-time at a privately owned restaurant. I love nature, history, running, animals, helping others, traveling domestically & internationally, reading nonfiction/historical novels, meeting & working with others, & hiking with friends/family. In HS I enjoyed being a part of school clubs such as Debate and Parkview Minds Matter. When I’m on an XC run or soccer field, the focus is on challenging myself & supporting my team to meet individual goals, with passion & purpose. I’m a very ethical, hard working, goal orientated, motivated, focused, funny, & an empathetic individual.
