My name is Dasia Lanee Daniel Gilyard. I attend George Walton High School located in Marietta, Georgia. I believe that hard work, determination commitment, and my faith will take me far, as I focus on my studies in the direction of my career goals. I am also a very avid and focused violin player in my school orchestra and have been playing since 6th grade. I am a faithful member at my church where I serve on the Beulah News and CandyStripper to help watch over toddlers and babies. My grades are very important to me as I know that is how I will reach my goals. I am also a Praise Dancer in my church as well as having my own Dance Ministry.
One of my dreams is to complete high school with the highest grade point average possible and to move on to college life and achieve my Bachelor's degree in the field of Child Psychology and development, with a minor in Journalism.
One of my passions is running, which is why I love being on the track team at Walton High School. As a member of the track team, I love sprinting and I am very committed to practice which I feel will enhance my time and my personal record, which will ultimately help me to become a better and more dedicated team player. My focus is to become a better and stronger performer. It would be a dream come true to continue my track career in college.I will do whatever it takes even if it means sacrificing some things.
