Throughout my childhood I was introduced to various sports such as tennis, soccer, and swimming. It wasn't until my freshman year in high school that I discovered my passion for running and competing in track and field. Since then I've aspired to take my skills to the next level in hopes of competing collegiately. 

I am a very dedicated, hardworking, self-motivating athlete who trains hard year-round to prepare for the next season. Though competitive, I am very coachable and enjoy the challenge of learning new skills. I know how to persevere through obstacles while maintaining a positive attitude to help others. I strive to put my 110% effort into both sports and academics and try to be an athlete my team can count on. 

I understand the importance of time management when it comes to schooling, and I study hard to maintain a high GPA. I am a good communicator and am able to think outside the box when solving problems.

I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the track. I'm open to all options and ultimately want to find the college best fit for me. I hope to gain new experiences and grow as a person my peers can look up to and parents can be proud of.
