2019 HighlightsPersonal Statement
My name is Ayanna Tommy. I am a student-athlete attending Antioch Community High School in Antioch, Illinois. I am a multi-year Varsity starting athlete in the sports of Volleyball, Basketball, and Track & Field. I have been playing sports since I was in first grade, but it was not until High School that I became more passionate about Track.
Being a part of team sports has allowed me to be able to take away some valuable lessons. Some of these include being responsible, attentive to detail, as well as being punctual. This has helped shape me to not only be a better athlete, but also a better student as well. I am currently taking a variety of Honors, Capstone, and AP level courses during my high school years to challenge myself academically in preparation for College. My future plans are to major in Nursing or Physical Therapy at an accredited University.
As part of my greatest accomplishments on the track, I have become a 3-time High School All-American at the USATF Jr. Olympic National Championships!
