Jaden Christian~NLI Signed Nov 2019 '20 Recruiting Profile

Thank you for your interest.  I am happy to announce I have committed and signed my NLI with Lewis University Track and Field Team~D2, Romeoville, IL. 

Since the beginning of my long and triple jumping career, I have always wanted to pursue my love for track by competing at the collegiate level. I know that by doing so, it will be a great opportunity to gain additional formal training and experience which will enable me to develop into the athlete I have always aspired to be. 

Throughout high school, I have always competed at a varsity level in both basketball and track. From this I have learned how to be an effective team leader on and off the field, a well as be able to accept constructive criticism along the way. I am very self-determined individual, committed to anything I put my mind to, and I am not intimidated by hard work.  

In addition to athletics, my education is very important to me. Throughout high school, I have maintained a 4.19 GPA while remaining top 10 in my class. I am also involved in extra-curricular activities such as: National Honor Society, Student Council, CCL, and Basketball. I am a very active member of my community, volunteering at Riverside Hospital and other different organizations as I understand the importance of leading by example and the importance of supporting my community.

My goal is to attend a college where I can be pushed to be the best athlete as possible, while also attaining a great education. Ultimately, I want to excel as a student-athlete, therefore; I am open-minded when it comes to choosing a college that will help me to develop in both areas.
