Hello! My name is Ryann Griesemer, and I have done track and field my entire high school career and middle school years. I started high jump my 7th grade year, having no prior experience, and made it to the State track meet, where I got 9th place. I have yet to make it back, but I hope to qualify for State this year (my senior year). I hold the 7th grade, 8th grade and high school record at my school, and have reached a new PR (Personal Record) each and every year I have competed. Though I’m “late to the game” with finding colleges to compete for, I still view myself as a good candidate for such. I’m extremely flexible in what is to be asked of me, and always do the most to be able to preform at the best of my ability. I currently hold my high school high jump record with a jump of 5’3, and I am 5’5 in stature (which I personally think is really cool). I am a good team player, I’m very friendly, and will do anything to better myself and my teammates. I care for this sport very much, so much so that I am now the jr. high high jump coach for my school. In my high jump career, I have never faltered and worked year round to train and be ready for each season, ending each better than the last. If you were to look into having me as a possible athlete, I promise that i will not disappoint.
