Away from my studies, I'm particularly a headstrong and determined athlete. In and out of practice I continue to work harder then what's expected of me. Based on my times I've made tremendous progress just by focusing on the talent I have, and the mindset I have to work towards. I see the people around me that are better at certain events, whereas their strengths are my weaknesses; however, I take this as a new assignment but different subject. My assignment is to realize my worth, realize the potential I possess to be great, in contrast to the subject, it changes every time a new goal has been met to my standards on the track. I work to get past where my competition is so that I can disqualify any intimidation to the mind itself. The mind is "the element of a person that enables them to be aware of the world and their experiences" the way I processed the mind to achieve improvement is by losing once to win the next, but I've learned to change that mindset- I now learn from one's mistake to prevent myself to contribute the same bad habits.
