I'm a very dedicated, determined, and coachable athlete whose biggest competitor is myself. When I set a goal I don't just hope for it to happen, I take the time to put in the effort and hard work to accomplish it. I stay focused and consistent when trying to build progress and never lose sight of the goal. Being a team player is a really important part of track for me and I keep up with my teammates goals to help cheer them on in training and competition so we can all live up to our very best. And not only do I like to push myself athletically but academically as well by taking advanced courses that challenge me to learn, grow, and improve. By applying the same discipline I do with my school work I am able to be a better athlete, who hopes to find the opportunity to carry on into college with track and study to become a social worker to help a great amount of people.
