My name is Kelly McCloughan and I am currently a junior at Geneva High School. I'm excited to continue my track career in college, and well as finish my last two seasons of high school track. I am also a starting member on our varsity basketball team and have recently received Athlete of the week in Kane County and State Farm Player of the Game. In track, I qualified for state my freshman year in the 300 meter hurdles, and my sophomore year in triple jump. I am excited to see all that is in store for me this upcoming season.
I feel my academics are my number one priority and I currently hold a 4.1 GPA. I have worked hard to maintain this and will continue to do so. I look forward to determining what I want to focus on when I move on to college.
Athletically, I am a team player and leader. Working hard, dedicating myself to my athletics, being a gym rat, supporting my teammates is what makes me a valuable asset to my AAU team as well as my high school team. I am ambitious and want to excel to my highest potential. I am a team leader, being voted as captain of my basketball team, which I know is an honor I will always treasure. I am also dependable and my family of 6 has taught my the true definition of integrity and honesty.
I know that when I am selected as a college recruit, I will work to my highest potential academically, morally, and athletically.
