I want to find a college that has a supportive and positive team atmosphere. I want to be able to be apart of a team that wants to work hard and better themselves everyday, both on and off the track. My freshman year I was the only girl on my cross country team, this was something that was hard however it gave me a deeper passion for running and helped me focus doing what you can with the situation you have been given.
During my Sophomore year of Cross Country I placed 9th at our Conference meet and advanced to both Regionals and Sectionals (placing 48th). During track I was able to place 6th in the 1600 meter run at Sectionals.
During my Junior Year of Cross Country I placed 9th at our Conference meet and advanced to Regionals (placing 26th). During track I placed 3rd at our Conference meet in the 800, 6th in the 1600, and our 4x400 team placed 5th. At our Sectional meet I placed 1st in the 800 and qualified for state. At the state meet I ran a PR of 2:28.88 and placed 20th in the 800.
I have also been able to keep a 4.0 GPA while taking difficult classes. Including Spanish 1-3, Honors English, Chem 1 & 2, Biology, Algebra 2, and Pre-Calculus.
I am also President of NHS, Secretary for Interact, a Leader for Rams for Christ, and an Editor for Journalism.
I am also active in my churches youth group, and have participated in play and speech club.
I am a hard worker and am dedicated to the sport and bettering myself and those around me.
