I would like to continue my running career in college because I can't imagine my life without the joy of running competitively. The biggest goal I have for myself is to secure an athletic and/or academic scholarship to aid my family in paying for college. I plan to complete a 4-year undergraduate degree and go on to graduate school. My drive to succeed in the classroom, track, and on the cross country course has already allowed me to reach some of my goals in high school. Because I am driven, competitive, hard-working, and a good teammate, I believe I would be a valuable addition to any college track and cross country team . My positive attitude and dedication will lead me, my teammates, and the team to be successful at the next level.
