I am currently a junior in highschool and as college is quickly approaching I am hoping to continue my athletic and academic career at the collegiate level. I plan to major in nursing. I am very passionate about my throwing career as well as my academic career. I consider myself a well rounded individual when it comes to athletic, academic, and volunteering when I can.
I have a very outgoing personality once I get to know the person that I am speaking with. Overall I am a very friendly person and I am always willing to learn. I would consider myself a coachable athlete and I take coaching cues very well.
I have always been involved with sports my whole life. Four years ago I started throwing for my track team and I quickly fell in love with it. Throwing was something that was different than anything I had ever seen before. Throwing is something that I knew I going into it that practicing constantly was necessary and I have stuck to it. I started off with just throwing discus and shot put, and in March of 2024 I started throwing hammer and very quickly loved hammer throw. I now majority practice discus and hammer.
I have always strived for excellence in my academics. I am seated at the top of my class with a 4.0 gpa going into my junior year. My academics had always been something I have cared a lot about. I am a strong believer in being a student-athlete and putting work and practice into both to excel at both.
