Michelle Ondiek '23 Recruiting Profile

I have been running since I was 12 years old and I fell in love with it ever since. Running Track for the past six years has taught me more than just how to pass a baton and run faster. The teamwork and support were the big factors that have shaped me into the person I am today. My biggest aspiration has always been to run at the collegiate level because I know it's once in a lifetime opportunity and not everyone gets to experience it.

I truly believe that I am a team leader and I try to lead by example. I'm coachable and I always strive to be better than I was yesterday because I know that hard work pays off and what you put into something is what you get out of it. I am also very strong minded and determined to achieve my goals and do great things. 

In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA. I am also a member of the Exercise Science Club and I hope to get more involved within my time here at Western University.
