I have been running track since I was 6 years old. I started in AAU with Gary Revolution. I eventually started running in middle school, Clifford Pierce Middle School, and then high school. Due to an extreme change in workouts, I gained an injury with a stress fracture in my foot during the end of my junior indoor season. Despite me being gone all outdoor season, I’m more than determined how great I can be as an athlete for a college team. When I get to college, I want to enhance my work ethic more and be the best I can be as a student and hopefully an athlete as well. My drive and attitude makes me a good candidate for your team. Even though my grades are not perfect, I try hard in the classroom and on the track. I am taking honor and AP courses throughout high school. I am able to juggle my classes and the sport that I love while maintaining a good GPA.
