Skyann Cansler '20 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals are to reach my highest potential and even farther in my athletics, academics, and even to better myself as a person. I’m very passionate about running track and also cross country,and hope to carry it out through my life. When I go to practice I’m there to work hard, learn, and encourage my other team members along side with me.  What makes me different from other recruits in character is that I’m always there for my team, Whether or not that is on or off the track. What makes me different from other recruits in athletics is that I’ll never give up on a challenge. Although I am smart enough to know when to stop when it’s necessary due to an injury or to rest. What makes me different from other recruits in academics is that I’ve come across difficult obstacles in my life, with facing self doubting,but I since then regained back my control and have been working strongly to reach my acedemic success.
