Julie Childers '21 Recruiting Profile

I have been running track since my freshman year and have aspired to run at the collegiate level. I know that participating in collegiate sports is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could change my whole life.

I have a fast 400m time and train hard year-round. I value teamwork and know how to grow from failure. I am coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working athletes and recruits you’ll find.

I also understand the values of being a student before an athlete and push myself on and off the track. I have a gpa of 4.0+ and will apply that to my college classes. I also volunteer after school and at my local church.  After college, I hope to pursue a career teaching early education.

I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the track. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match. I hope to not only improve myself but to also be a role model for my peers.
