Growing up I was very athletic, gymnastics was my first sport, then swim, and lastly track (which I eventually stuck with). My older sister ran track in high school, my mom ran track in high school and in college, and my dad ran in college and in high school where he held the 400 m dash record at 48.78 for 25 years. I found out that I had a natural talent for the sport and as the years went by I have learned how to be more patient as I train more and further the limits of my body. In 2019 I was able to go the the track and field Far East championship where I was able to place in all of my events and set multiple personal records in the process, and more excitingly my team placed 1st overall in the meet! In January of 2020 my friends and I participated in a dead lifting competition where I lifted 325 lbs and I am still working to get higher, heavy weightlifting is something that I also enjoy doing in my training or free time. I am aiming to finish my last two years of high school with a 4.0 GPA as I did my sophomore year. After I graduate, I want to find a school that will aid me in working to my potential on and off the track, and will eventually lead to become an even better medical student.
