Personal Statement
I only started running a year and a half ago because some friends and the cross country and track coach encouraged me to try it out because they thought I'd like running and be pretty good at it. They were right! I instantly loved it! I continued to grow in my knowledge of the sport and soon was second on the varsity team!
I'm looking to run in college because I love pushing myself, whether in the classroom or out on a run! I'm able to grow both mentally and physically and it's a way for me to continue to prove that I can overcome obstacles to myself and others!
