Olivia Pride '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Olivia Pride. I am a senior at Arkansas City High School in South Central Kansas. My school competes in the AVCTL-II 5A division. I have participated in track and field at the competitive level for six years with a lost season my freshman year due to covid. I have been on the varsity team every year and have earned many medals and often place high at track meets. I am the leader in distance for both shotput and discus on my team. 

I have been an athlete since I was five years old playing soccer, football, softball, cheerleading, and basketball.  I am most passionate about track and field and being on a team at the collegiate level. I am a very good student and strive to be a great student-athlete. My grades are important to me and I have only had A's in my classes all throughout middle school, high school, and concurrent college courses. My GPA is on a 5-point scale so my current GPA is 4.21. I am interested in elementary education. I feel that I am a very balanced person so I can manage my student and athlete sides very well. I am a natural-born leader and have high expectations for myself.
