I make a great athlete because I am very dedicated to my sport, and I am very coachable. I always take what the coaches say and apply it to what I’m doing. I am also a multi-sport athlete, but track is my main sport. I didn't start running track until my 8th grade year and didn't start hurdles until my freshman year. I make sure that every track meet I improve my times and I always set a goal before I run, and I usually get the goal or better. I didn't start off to motivated in high school until end of sophomore year I realized that I needed to step things up. Before my junior year began, I told my coaches that I was going to let Junior year be my year. And it happened I did a flute solo and got a 2 at regionals. I made it to regionals in 2 events and made it to state in one of them. I hit a personal record in both events at regionals. And I became very dedicated in the classroom and got top student 2 times. I got star student multiple times. And towards the end of this year is when I realized that track is a part of my life and always will be no matter how far I go with this sport.
