Melody Ochana '21 Recruiting Profile

I am the type of person to work hard and do everything possible to reach my goals. I have a very big passion for running that i tend to work hard at,  it inspires me to put the same effort in other areas of my life. I have had great accomplishments in the past and i believe to have even bigger ones as I run in college. My goal is to run my best not only in high school but most importantly in college and get faster. I have big dreams and bigger goals that i plan to accomplish later on in my college running years because thats where I  want to run my best. Im also a great team player. I always want to make sure that everyone is in the right mindset so we are successful as a team. I really value team work because as an athlete there are times when you might not feel or perform the best,  but when you start  to think that you aren't the only one hurting and so is everyone else i immediately feel a drive to keep pushing and its all going to pay off. At the age of 10 years old i was taught and understood  what it meant  to push yourself beyond what you think you can do and to work hard for great results and i still live by that today and i will continue.
