Personal Statement
Being a student-athlete has been my focus for my entire life. I strive to excel in academics and in the various sports that I pursue. As a multi-sport athlete, I have always turned to running as my foundation. The strength, stamina, focus, and clarity that come from my years in cross-country and track and field have allowed me to be a strong forward in soccer and a valuable doubles partner in tennis. In track and field, I have shifted from a 3200-meter and 1600-meter runner to enjoying the middle-distance races especially the 800. I’m looking forward to Spring 2023 to see how my 800 times improve.
