Makeriah Harris '24 Recruiting Profile

After running varsity track in the 7th and 8th grade, being unable to participate in varsity meets my Freshman year was a challenge for me. Although, I was eligible to run junior varsity,  I was at every varsity meet cheering my team to victory.   Running track has been my passion since I was 5 years old.  Even though, I could not compete on the varsity level, I still gave my all when I hit the track.  This experience taught me a great deal about how to be a true team players and how to be selfless when it comes to supporting others.  It has always been my aspirations to become apart of great track team during high school and college.  I feel that I would be a great asset to your team because academics as well as athletics are my top priorities.  I am an elite person in the classroom as well as on the track.  I have what it takes to compete on the collegiate level because I have great work ethics and I am committed to any task that is set before me.
