Lindsey Doucet '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Lindsey Doucet. I have been in track and field for all 4 years of high school. I was a competitive gymnast for 7 years and did Cheerleading for 3 years. I started pole-vault my sophomore year, but the season got canceled due to covid. I came back my junior year and broke Breaux Bridge High School’s female pole vault record 5 times. I have either broke or tied my PR at every track meet for pole vault except for 1.  Pole vault is my entire world. It has taught me so much about myself. I have learned so many lessons and it has made me a really strong individual. I am a senior right now in high school and I do not want my pole-vault career to stop after this, I would love to improve myself and compete in the sport I love in college. I am very committed and passionate when it comes to this sport. I have been an Honors student all 4 years of high school. I have a GPA of 3.5 with an A/B average. I am also taking DE classes this year. I would love to major in Biology in college.
