Cartina Reliford '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi , my name is Cartina Reliford I am 16 years old I have been running track since the seventh grade it’s a sport that I love with my all.  I’ve run both middle school and varsity track . I’ve been running varsity since the seventh grade. My eighth grade year in middle school my team and I went to state. That was my first time ever making it to state and my second year running track. Around that time that’s when I realized I was really good at it and started to have a feel for it.I started taking track more seriously and wanted to get better I pushed and gave my all throughout the years I’ve ran track . My goal is to graduate high school successfully and go to college . I would like to graduate high school with a scholarship for track but I would like to go to college to become a physical therapist. I feel like like I can do great things in this sport and this sport can do great things for me also. I’ve always dreamed of being a professional athlete I’m always watch runners such as Allyson Felix , Sanya Richards, and Upcoming Athlete shacarri Richardson . Seeing those ladies run just gives me a boost of energy and another reason to want to succeed even more . Most of all God is going to have my back through it all so I know I can make it and be that person I’ve always dreamed of.
