Hello! My name is Brianna Harriman! I am a student athlete at Cony High School in Augusta, Maine. I have been running since seventh grade - so for six years now - and I gained an interest in running because my mother ran in high school. I would say I’ve had a pretty successful cross country and track career so far. In 2019, my 4x800 team won the outdoor state championship and broke our school record. In 2020, I came in second for the 800 meters at our indoor state championship meet. Our outdoor girls track team has won three consecutive conference championships. Most recently, our girls outdoor track team won the Class B Outdoor Track State Championship in 2021. Aside from being an athlete, I take great pride in my studies. I have a weighted GPA of 3.97 and I am in the top five of my class. I am also involved in a large number of school activities including Outing Club, National Honor Society, Olympia Snowe Women’s Leadership Institute, etc. I am also very active in Chizzle Wizzle, which is the country‘s longest running high school variety show. I have a love for musical theatre and singing altogether. I also love anything to do with being outdoors. Hiking is a big hobby of mine and I actually have a goal of through hiking the Appalachian Trail after college. For college, I hope to major in speech pathology with a minor in early childhood development and get my doctorate in communication sciences and disorders. I am super excited to meet coaches and start the recruitment process.
