As far as my collegiate goals, I plan on studying Media studies or Production. I aspire to become a video editor once I am older and also further my track and field career by hopefully becoming a professional athlete. Later in life I plan on becoming a Track and Field coach to teach those who have a passion for running just like me.
Track and Field is a sport that I have always had interest for growing up, but I did not pursue my career until high school. Once I joined the team at my school, I realized that this sport takes a lot of time, dedication, patience, and effort. During my first season of track, I placed in the IAAM finals as a freshman in the 400m. Following my first season, I decided to enhance my running skills and techniques by joining Grace Beauty Speed Track Club. Over time I've developed great sportsmanship, self-confidence, determination, and listening skills which is why I believe I would make a good candidate for any team.
Regardless of if I am on the track or in the class room, I am a very hard-working student athlete. Along with Track, I manage many other activities like student government (where I play an active role as the junior class secretary), community service, and outreach. What makes me different from other recruits is that I am a very coachable and a determined person. I am always ready to learn something new, improve, and encourage my teammates.
