My name is Janayis Mendoza, I am a 16 year old junior attending Meade Senior Highschool. I have been running track for 11 years, running in the 100m, 200m, and sometimes 400m. The two most important things to me are my education and performance in athletics. I am a hard working student who has maintained honor roll for the majority of my school years, from elementary to this previous school year, with a consistent 3.6 unweighted to 3.8 weighted GPA. I am devoted to my education in order to have consistent grades.  I have had a tremendous peak in my 2022 outdoor track season, dropping my times in both the 100m and 200m . There is more to come and more to be improved in my athletic performance. I am committed to myself and my team while also staying competitive and humble. I am willing to do what is best for myself and my performance in order to drop my times and self improve.
