Hello, my name is Emma Wall. I am a junior at Douglas High School in Douglas, MA and I am interested in potentially running at the college level. I began running competitively during my sophomore year and since then have been a member of the varsity cross country team and varsity indoor/outdoor track and field teams at my school. During this cross country season I had a 5K PR of 19:30 at the Bob Mcintyre Twilight Cross Country Invitational and placed 3rd in the Dual Valley Conference Championship Meet as well as 30th in the MIAA All State Cross Country meet. So far this season in indoor track I have PR‘d in both the 1 mile with a time of 5:32 and in the two mile with a time of 12:26. I am also part of my team‘s 4x800 relay which holds the school record of 10:42 in which I ran the first leg with a time of 2:30. The outdoor track season is about to conclude and I have placed 2nd at districts in the mile with a time of 5:29 and our 4x800 team finished 3rd (my leg was a 2:31). In school, I have a 4.0 GPA and I am a member of the National Honor Society. Outside of academics I volunteer at Miriam Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island and at my local dog shelter, Dog Orphans. Thank you for your time and I hope to hear back from you soon.
