Hello, my name is Jordan Monroe. I will be an upcoming senior discus and shot put thrower at Chippewa Valley Highschool. I first started throwing in 8th grade and I'm so glad my mom made me do track or else I wouldn't have been the person that I am today. Besides throwing, I am an all A student with a GPA of a 4.01 (ranked 21 out of 528 in my class), on the girls varsity basketball team, and also in the school's marching band drumline for 3 years now. This last track season, I placed 1st in my league meet for discus and placed 2nd at both regionals and county for discus. I also got to have the chance to be able to attend our Division 1 State track meet. Even though I didn't perform as well as I wanted to, I'll be coming back next year better than I ever was before. My goal for college is to be the best version I can be, to be a great asset for my team, and to keep my throwing career going. At first I didn't want to go to college for throwing, but after finding out what I have in store, I want to further my throwing career pass high school. Our school currently don't have a throwing coach and going off of pure talent with the help of my mother who also threw back in high school. Also, I am currently doing off season training with my sister. Also, I am taking a weight lifting class during school. My bench is 135lbs, squat is 245lbs, and deadlift is 235lbs. Thank you for stopping by my page and I hope I can be an great asset for your track team.
