As I enter my Senior year, I’ve really become more focused on both my academics and athletics. I’m trying to work on pushing to get to the next level in T&F, instead of just relying on my ability. My classes are going really well and I enjoy the ones that will help me in my Architectural Engineering pursuit. It’s great having a firm goal in mind and I look forward to the challenges at the next level! In the meantime, I’m ready to put in three more Varsity seasons (Cheer, Competition Cheer, and T&F), set more PRs, and achieve as much as I can academically to close out my HS career. Balancing school, sports, and work is a challenge, but I’ve found a groove that allows me to accomplish all I need to, yet still be a HS kid and have some fun! I can’t wait to see what this year brings!!!
As I'm finishing my second Varsity season, I've learned that I can't get along on just natural ability alone. As I've pushed myself to try harder dives and reach higher finishes, I've discovered that I can utilize those same processes in my class work, as well. Although I take all Honors courses, the more I push myself to achieve higher scores, the more I'm satisfied with my own results. I'm eager for the rest of the school year and how the post-season progresses for diving!
