Hello, my name is Emily Curtice. I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, in a small town named Gwinn. Ever since I first joined middle school track, I have dreamed of competing past my high school career. In September of 2017, I tore my ACL, MCL, and Meniscus playing in a Varsity Volleyball game, I had surgery that October. I had to skip the rest of my Volleyball season, as well as all of my basketball season, but I worked very hard in order to be back in time for track season. Sports is truly my passion, and I want to prove that it's possible to come back stronger and better after a big injury.
Not only am I very serious about sports, I am very serious about my academics. I believe in order to be a great athlete, you must also be a great student.
