I've been a runner since my earliest middle school years, and the longer I run the more and more I fall in love with it. Running is definitely something I have always aspired to continue into my college career. Having that aspiration has also helped me set goals for myself and work harder every time I reach a new goal. Not only is running just a goal for me to achieve and just get better at, but it has also been a great stress reliever. It isn't always just running but having a team that's like a second family to me is always something I look for and hope to find in a team.
What sets me apart from other athletes is how much running means to me and just how much dedication to the sport have. Throughout my high school career I have always struggled with mental issues. To be specific my Junior seemed to be the worst it got and running seemed to be the one aspect in my life I could rely on.
Academically I have always done at least average or above average level. My GPA has always been high 3.0 range. Mathematically I am currently 2 grade levels above where the rest of my graduating class is, currently AP Calculus BC, and science and health related subjects I have always found interesting. But not only in math am I advanced in, but also English. At the moment I'm taking two English classes and I love writing.
