Personal Statement
I began running when I was 11 years old and I have loved it ever since. I ran both cross country and track in middle school and I plan to continue running for the rest of high school and hopefully into college. As a distance runner, I run very consistent splits maintain a steady pace throughout my races. I am very motivated and thrive in the midst of competition. Because I get along with others easily, I am a good team player and do well in group situations.
At my high school, I currently have a 4.09 GPA as I take weighted classes, including honors geometry along with honors world Literature. I am a hard worker both on and off the track and an individual who seeks greatness in all areas.
