Personal Statement
I discovered my passion for running after joining cross country this year, where I fell in love with the team and the sport and was able to push myself past my comfort zone. In the four years before that, I competed in multiple different events in Track including: running the 400, 800, 1600, 3200, and jumping long jump. I finished this season with all time PRs across the board and continued on to make all-state this year with a 3rd place finish at D1 UP finals in the 3200. I work hard both academically(over a 4.0) and athletically(varsity runner) and am looking for a college that will help me to succeed in both of these fields.
