Isabel Assink '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Isabel Assink, I am a junior at Zeeland West Highschool. I started throwing shot put and discus my freshman year and plan to hopefully keep throwing throughout college. Comparing myself to where I am now to last year I have improved in the shot put by 5 ft 4 in, and in discus by 15 ft 4 in. I intend to keep improving throughout my career.  

Despite my love for track, I also play volleyball. I enjoy hiking, going to the beach, and I love spending time with family. This summer I am planning on working out a lot and intend to upload videos of me throwing to keep track of my progress. 

Besides my dedication to sports, I am also very passionate about my academic life. This year I will be taking a few AP classes and hope to get a good score on the SAT.
