Julia Miller 2023...Personal Statement
My name is Julia and I have loved long jump since the moment I started track. I really enjoy sports but track is my favorite because I love the relays and the jumping events. I would like to pursue athletics in college so I can continue my passion for jumping and running into my college years. One of my favorite things about track is that as a team you are all working towards a goal separately and together. There is nothing more electric than cheering on your 4x400 relay team at the end of meet and running back and forth between the track! One of my favorite things about track is the camaraderie you get from your teammates, especially if you are apart of a relay team. My 4x100 relay team holds a special place in my heart because we all are looking to improve and win together. I hope I am able to accomplish my athletic and academic goals by continuing to run track in college.
