Isabella Thurston '23 Recruiting Profile

Academically, I plan to go to college and set my self up with Pre-Vet Med. focus and possibly become a Vet in the future. Helping animals is something I love a lot and I can't wait for what the future brings.

I want to thrive not only athletically but academically. I currently am a PSEO student at Normandale Community College and I love college life. Through out my running career I've gain so much, and working with a team is something I truly love, I want to inspire others and motivate others the way that my teammates have. I have been running high school track & cross country since 7th grade I'm going into my 5th season and i enjoy it so much.  Running beyond high school at the next level is something I've dreamed of my whole life.  I believe over the years I've gained the dedication, hard work ethic and positive mindset to truly accomplish this goal. When I train I work hard because I believe you're never given your achievements for free you‘ve gotta work hard for it. 

I never choose the easy route I constantly challenge myself and try to exceed the high expectations I’ve set for my self in my academics, athletic and personal life because I know I need to work hard to achieve my dreams.

I believe I’d be a good candidate for your program and school because I work well with others, display good leadership skills, along with strong determination for my goals.
