April 2022Personal Statement
I played basketball and soccer growing up and never thought about running. I fell in love with running when I was injured in basketball and was cross training. I switched high schools and joined cross country to meet people. I love the girls that I have met in cross country and track; they inspire me in so many ways. But my love for running is so special; it makes me feel better than anything. I would love to go to a college where I could keep running track/cross county and achieve all my aspirations for a career and life.
