My goal in the future is to run track for a division 3, or possibly a division 2 school. I think that what makes me a good candidate is my determination. At the start of the 2019 season I was stuck at a time of 1:09 for my 400m dash. Then all of a sudden I tried something a little bit different at a meet and ended up running 2 seconds faster. As this last season went on, I kept beating my PR one second at a time and finished my season off with a run of 1:04.36 at the section 1A meet. I think that anything is possible if someone can put their mind to it. I try my hardest on and off the track. I went from being a A- and B+ student last year, to nearly having a 4.0 gpa this year. What makes me different from other recruits is my optimistic attitude towards academics and sports. I am very proud of what I accomplished this year and I hope I have many great track seasons to come.
