I am Aubrey Boatwright, and I am a runner. I love to run for sport and as my way to get away, focusing my thoughts on me and my life. When running, I plan my day, my week, and my life. It is the one place that I am free of distractions and allow myself the freedom from society and routine and just live. When I am not running, I am thinking of running, and always planning that next run. I also use this recovery time to study; both academics and music. I play the piano, guitar, ukulele and sing as well. I have opened for a show in Branson, Missouri, with more planned in the near future. I also perform for my schools concert choir and lettered in choir as a freshman, as well as varsity basketball. I love to compete in team sports and settings, but running allows me to get that feel with my success truly reliant upon myself and my training. I look forward to college and college life outside of my small town and will pursue a career in nursing. Nursing will allow me to contribute to a team at work that again, counts on my training making me a ready contributor based on my personal preparation. This career will also allow me to pursue my running and musical aspirations while sustaining a life anywhere i choose.
