Emma Kelley '20 Recruiting Profile

After winning my first high school track race freshman year, I quickly realized that I had found something I loved, and I never looked back from there. I was determined to improve my times and meet the goals that I set for myself each meet. I looked forward to my races, improving my times by multiple seconds each week, gradually becoming more confident in what I could accomplish as an athlete. Along with my individual races, being a member of multiple relay teams taught me that running isn’t just about individual accomplishments, and I was able to celebrate my own achievements along with the ones of my teammates.  

I’m looking for a school that will be a perfect fit for me not only athletically, but also academically. I take school seriously, and finding a balance between my athletics and my academics is very important to me. I believe that my drive to succeed will be an impactful factor inside and outside the classroom as I continue striving to push myself and improve.
