Most importantly, in college, I plan to excel both athletically and academically. I am determined to become the best athlete and student I can and perform on the track as well as in the classroom. As a potential candidate for your team, I possess several qualities that set me apart from other recruits. Every single day I push myself to be the best athlete I can be, I have a strong work ethic, am incredibly competitive, and am not afraid of hard work. Creating a positive environment for my fellow teammates is a big objective of mine as well. Athletically, I believe I can achieve anything I put my mind to. I run every event between the 200m to the 1600m, I anchor both my school's 4x100 and 4x400 relays, I have thrown discus all my career, and have also participated in high jump without complaint. In terms of academics, I take pride in doing the best I can in the classroom. This mentality has earned me a spot in the National Honor Society and Honor Roll.
