I have always loved the thrill of running the hurtles ever since I began track in 6th grade. I have always done the 100 hurtles, 200 hurtles, it was 8th grade when I first could try the 300 hurtles out and I immediately fell in love. I'm a junior now in High school August 2020 i will be a senior. I am very dedicated to track and very dedicated to the hurtles just because I have loved them and worked hard at them for a very long time, making it to state track was the biggest achievement I have received in sports. Running is natural to me and being able to jump over a hurtle fast enough and then hit the ground and go even faster. Other recruits might not want to run that much they probably don't even want to get so sore from jumping hurtles over and over again just because they love that event so much. i set my goal and i work the very hardest to achieve them. My goal in 2019 was to make it to state my sophomore year in the hurtles, I worked over and over again trying to get my time faster and faster and it finally got faster every track meet by 3 seconds up until Divisionals when I placed and qualified for state both by my time and my placing. I work hard for my goals and work hard for what I love and believe in. I believe if there is a future team out of my high school year that loves this sport and believes in realistic goal making and achieving them every single time you step on the track then I will be a great leader on your team and with goals comes hard work, and with hard works comes dedication.
