I have loved sports all my life and am a very competitive person. I enjoy playing sports as it helps me get through all the tough times. When I was younger we always had a track and field day, I would always love racing and competing against my other classmates. Since then I knew I wanted to compete in Track & Field. My 7th grade year was the first year this sport was offered to me, but unfortunately COVID-19 had struck and I was unable to participate. In 8th grade I was so eager to finally do track & field. Since then I have fallen in love with this sport and am always excited to go to meets. While at these meets, I always stay positive while being humble with myself. Throughout my track & field career, I've learned that things don't always go as planned and you have to go with the flow sometimes while staying on task. Trying to balance my academics along with sports and other activities, I'd say I always try my best to stay on top of my assignments.
