I have many goals I wish to achieve while I am in college. My major goals include running on the track team, graduating with honors, and becoming the most prepared I can for my future career. In all of these goals, I will strive to not only work hard, but enjoy myself as well.
I tore my ACL two weeks before the district track meet my junior year (2013). I watched my 4x8 and 4x4 teams go on to the state meet and win 3rd and 1st, respectively. Since then, I have had reconstructive surgery and have been working extremely hard to get back into top physical condition. I use this event to motivate me to work my hardest at ever practice.
I have loved running since before I can remember. Track has consumed my life, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I love running. It is because of my love for the sport that I will always do the best I can. I will not stop until I am the best I can be, until I have achieved my goals.
