Personal Statement

As an athlete, goals are an essential factor. A long-term goal is to ultimately push my potential in jumping, wanting to hit over the 39’ mark in triple jump in my career. A short-term goal is to run a sub 1:00 400m this upcoming season. I bring an energy and determination that sets me apart from many athletes. I believe me coming from a small town is a factor that sets me apart by teaching me crucial skills to not only handle adversity, but to maintain the balance of academics and athletics while being involved in a multitude of extracurriculars and sports.
