Josephene Cottrell '22 Recruiting Profile

For as long as I can remember, I have been running.. up and down the basketball court, on the track, across the dance floor, and on the playground. I also have always been told to wait. That my time is coming.  This only made me work harder and become more determined to prove that my time was now. 

I am a hard worker, both on and off the court. When someone tells me I can’t do something it only makes me want to do it more.  I believe that the only good team is one that works together and has each other’s back. This is what I want to be apart of, where I want to offer my abilities, and where I, along with my teammates, can shine being the best team we can be. 

I want to use my collegiate athletic career to prove to myself and others than anyone can achieve their goals and dreams, no matter what opportunities you have or who supports you.
