My name is Aneyai Smith and I am currently a sophomore at Legacy High School. I have been running track since I was 9 years old. I was introduced to track by my mother who ran when she was in high school. She was my coach and biggest supporter. I want to run track in college because I want to continue doing what I love to do and it will also help me live a healthier life. I am a good student who can take criticism because it will only make me a better athlete and person. I strive to be a good leader and always try to lead by example while not trying to act boastful or superior to others. I also have good sportsmanship. I will represent myself, my team and my teammates with an image of respect. In relation to my abilities, I am a good sprinter that can get out of blocks really well and I have good endurance. I will never break down or slow down when I know I can do better.
